My "new" old ride - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Melanie Altmeyer - September 23 - 2:07 amI love this suv so far. Ive had it about 1 month. It looks and rides like a brand new car and one that would cost a lot more. No one believed me when I told them my "new" car was actually 13 years old. It only had 50,000 miles on it, so with Hyundai 100,000 warranties, Im hoping to have it for a very long time. It has great acceleration and gas mileage. The seats and ride are very comfortable. Only thing I dont like is the wind noise when windows are down and moonroof is open. Im hoping window vent guards will help.

Fun AND Reliable! - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Katster - August 22 - 2:00 amIts an attractive car thats fun to drive. I love the larger engine, it moves on these Atlanta highways with no trouble. It looks much more expensive that it is and comes with a lot of standard features on the LX edition. The 6 CD Monsoon system rocks! Side airbags and the warrenty sold me, and Ive had GREAT service from my dealership, theyve been so friendly. I recommend the air deflector for those of you with sun roofs, it keeps the wind from creating that buffeting feeling on your ears when the top is open. I look forward to driving it, my Artic Blue "Belle" (we name our cars, what can I say).

Value - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Jab0931 - August 22 - 2:00 amBest Bang for the buck out there. More fun to drive than the Acura at half the cost. The Honda Pilot is a pig on the city streets. Buy the car, not the hype of the name people!

great SUV I believe to out there f - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By tomkat - August 18 - 10:00 amJust bought and driven over 2000 miles on it since then. only bad thing is the tires are out of balance and need to be balnced and checked by the dealer before given to customer. Also the 2.7 is a good engine but lacks power in the mountains. I would recommend the 3.5ltrGreat buying service no i got to have this one saleman and great service. I would definately recommend to anyone

Very Pleased - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Joel & Jodie - August 12 - 10:00 amWe have had the SUV for six months now and are very pleased. For the money (and warranty) the features and amenities are a great value. We did have one recall to re-program the ABS system but that took about twenty minutes at the dealer. It is smooth, quiet, and has more power than I expected. There are a few features I would like to see them included in the future but only because I have gotten used to them im my other vehicles. I got the extended ten year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. I dont normally do that but being my first experience with Hyundai I wanted the peace of mind. The warranty price is more than covered by the rebate.

Best Money Ive Spent - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Rachel025 - July 11 - 2:00 amThe first major point, for me, was the warranty. No one can beat 5 yr bumper to bumper & 10 yr powertrain. The standard features are awesome. It came with everything; air, power locks and windows, automatic, cd, am/fm, tape... even a leather wrapped steering wheel! The interior is very roomy and it seems all the controls are set up perfect for the driver. Nothing overly confusing about the controls or their locations. The styling is chic. I did not want to buy an SUV that looked like a box. It has the perfect amount of cargo space. The area behind the back seat is huge. Not to mention, the back seat folds down completely flat for more space.

My 2nd Santa Fe - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By btexpress - July 11 - 2:00 amI own a 2002, and a 2003 Santa Fe, and am getting ready to purchase a 2004. I love the car, only flaw I have seen so far is for some reason the Headlights dim and then brighten up and this is done repeatedly every time using the lights, other than that this SUV is great.

Great SUV - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Camwo - June 30 - 10:00 amI bought the Santa Fe and the next day drove from Utah to Florida totally loaded and it did great. I kept it under 60 mph and varied the speed during the first 500 hundred miles but got some of the best mpg. I did have one problem in Florida with the engine light. The dealer down there thought it was because the gas cap wasnt tightened at least three clicks and it took the mechanics to reset the light to get it turned off. Then light has not come on again since then. Really a fun car to drive.

Great suv for the money - 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe
By kriglv - June 30 - 10:00 amI will match this car with any other in its class on all factors: ride, paint, interior feel, quality, handling, reliability, looks, etc. I find it a great car considering the price I paid (very inexpensive) considering all the xtras and the 5 year warrenty.I figure if Hyundai will stand behind its product for 5 years bumber to bumper where not many if any other auto manufacturers will; they must be doing something right.....
